The Indigo Story

Posted by on

Our textiles such as scarves, pillow covers and table runners are dyed in a plant-based dye called Indigo. Indigo dyeing has had a long tradition in Laos and Southeast Asia for centuries.

We are a proud partner of a social business that works with traditional Lao artisans to preserve and promote Lao village crafts. Working together under the principles of fair trade in order to create employment opportunities for villagers, especially women, and reduce poverty.

It is a sustainable, all-natural and cruelty-free dye. Watch the slideshow below to learn more about this wonderful creation.
